"Voces: Latino Vote 2024" Reveals the Influence of Latino Voters
This new documentary dives deep into the key issues that resonate with the politically diverse Latino community in crucial battleground states.
Recently, I had the opportunity to be a part of an important new PBS series Voces: Latino Vote 2024, which provides an eye-opening look at the Latino voting bloc. The documentary, by Bernardo Ruíz, with production from acclaimed filmmakers Andrés Cediel and Marcia Robiou, dives deep into understanding Latinos' impact on the 2024 elections.
As readers of “The Great Transformation” know, the Latino vote is poised to be a deciding factor in the presidential election and key state and local races. Many stories have been told on the importance of the Latino vote, however, what sets Voces apart is that it goes beyond the usual headlines, and dives deep into the complexities of this diverse electorate.
Voces: Latino Vote 2024 is more than just stats and polling data – it tells the stories of the real people behind those votes. The documentary reinforces the vitality of the Latino community to the future of the U.S. and the importance of how the 17.5 million Latino voters will be in one of the most critical elections in recent memory.
The film offers a fresh perspective that challenges assumptions by highlighting the diverse voices of the Latino electorate. I highly suggest you check it out.
