FIFA is all about money, and if they start seeing ticket sales flop, they might do something. It will also be interesting when Middle East and African countries’ teams that often go to the cup try to travel here to play while on the banned list. Fortunately, Mexico and Canada can absorb the games.

Who cares? FIFA is incredibly corrupt and the World Cup coming to the U.S. will endanger any black or brown people who attend, due to ICE and bounty hunters. Infantino is a Rump wannabe.

I love soccer, but I hope it’s one giant economic FLOP!

"The tournament represents a massive economic opportunity, but one that could be severely undermined if international visitors, particularly from Latin America, feel unwelcome or unsafe."

Nuff said! I know of people in Mexico who said they won´t go to soccer games in the USA because they are afraid of being bullied or inspected.

It’s not just fans.

Senegal’s women's basketball team recently travelled to the US to attend a training camp in Texas. A number of the players & staff were refused visas.

So I wouldn’t assume that the teams traveling to the US wouldn’t have similar issues.

Infantino, FIFA head, is a Trump ass-licker. He ain’t doing shit to protect anyone. Both FIFA and the USA are going to look like clowns to the soccer world.

I love soccer and work in the world of youth soccer. It is a multicultural, beautiful sport. So many of our coaches and players are not U.S. born. They are from all over. I worry about them daily in our current climate.

FIFA is based in Switzerland, and has 6 global confederations. Our confederation under FIFA (North, Central, and South America) is CONCACAF. The North American zone within CONCACAF (Canada, U.S., Mexico) is hosting the ‘26 World Cup. Remembering the inhumaneness of the Qatari hosting of the World Cup gives me very little hope that FIFA would do anything at all about what is going on in the U.S. FIFA is huge and has a hugely corrupt history. I think will cut a deal with Trump to get $ from

the event without a lot of issue. Money talks. Everybody should watch the mini series FIFA Uncovered.

Btw, I posted a great picture on my notes at the last Mexico game of a rebellious fan at the CONCACAF Gold Cup game in AZ last weekend. I’d post it here but photos aren’t allowed in comments I guess. Last four teams in the men’s Gold Cup are U.S., Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala. Should be some excellent watching this week! I got to see U.S. play a Gold Cup game in Austin on the 19th. They were playing Saudi Arabia. NO idea why Saudi was in this cup- some pay to play FIFA shenanigans I assume.
