What a week! No rest for the restless.
This is the first election cycle in 30 years I haven’t been working on a major campaign but I’m more exhausted than ever trying to keep up with this campaign. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!
This episode we discuss Kamala breaking 50% and how significant this is - my prediction of breaking through to higher levels proved correct: ABC/Ipsos had Harris at 52% among likely voters.
Are Trumps distractions working? I argued NO in a substack article this week after the debate but pre-Laura Loomer affair suggestions and days before the assassination attempt. Trump fatigue is real, its setting in and Trumps drama is a drag not a boost for his campaign.
Finally, we talk the fundamentals. A quick note of calm on the voter registration hysteria. Things are good, heading in the right direction - time to keep level headed and feet on the ground. 50 days left.
