Agree on βthe moral high ground β statement, having said that the Democrats are part of the the whole problemβ¦β¦.but this regime needs to be squashed.
I heard some of congress is questioning of Warsh. Warren repeatedly brought up tRump's statement that when his guy gets in as fed chair, he will change rates per his request. Really worried about Warshβs confirmation. All bloody kneed corporations should be scared of this confirmation. The seditious SCOTUS six should be scared.
I understand what you're saying about gerrymandering is bad and democrats no longer having the high ground, but I don't agree. I feel like Democrats aren't just rolling over and taking it when the GOP is playing dirty. we're being held hostage by 30% of the least educated, least critical thinking part of the electorate that has been convinced to vote against their own interests. levelling the playing field is necessary, especially because Texas started it.
Your comments about playing dirty and being blindly pushed by the least educated least critical thinking part of the electorate is the exact same argument I heard Republicans make about Democrats for 25 years.
Technically youβre both correct - and you should be equally ashamed for blaming people disaffected by the games youβre justifying to dismantle and undermine democracy.
Wait, why is gerrymandering bad for Democrats? It is 100% true that if Dems decided to gerrymander 25 years ago we would have much more progress on healthcare, climate change, minimum wage, childcare, criminal justice reform, need I go on? There is no reasonable amount of time to allow for suffering.
We know that people are rationing their medications due to cost. We know that the climate is on the road to fucked. So this whole losing the high ground thing is next to tone deaf. The moral high ground is to alleviate suffering at near any cost. The cost of a bunch of morons shouting their vague sense of distaste I pay gladly.
For the People Act tried to ban gerrymandering in 2021, Republicans didn't vote for it against the polling of their constituents. I just don't know how many times we can pry the pistol from the mouths of our fellow Americans before we stop trying. Especially because Texas started the mid decade redistricting expecting democrats to roll over and take it.
I would be interested in hearing you banter about the DSA policy platforms. I'm interested to see where the common ground might be. Is it possible to be more socialist without losing capitalism?

Doesnβt Tucker have connections to Russia??
Mike: I just added the book, "Something Between Us" to my Amazon list. Thanks!
GOP wants to devalue the dollar!
Warsh has ties to Epstein. That, in itself, should disqualify him.

My mom use to say two wrongs donβt make a right and that is true
But the democrats need to understand that Republicans are playing Monopoly and the Democrats are playing Clue
All that I think should happen is that the Democrats should start playing Monopoly or at least understand how that game is played
Rain is calming, yes. It also feels like the very atmosphere is sending us life. I love the rain. Love, Susan
