We live in interesting times. The historic collapse of Trumps polling numbers continues to push the boundaries of anything we have seen in the Trump era and it’s not just evident in polling. CPAC had dismall attendance and interviews with those who showed up were predicting a GOP slaughter in the midterm elections. The most raucous applause was held for an Iranian activist and dissident looking to replace the Ayatollah, leading one reporter to state that the show looked more like “Iran first than America first”.
Couple the bad polling with CPAC collapse and now the online feud brewing between MAGA’s biggest stars and it all adds up to a nightmare scenario for Republicans trying to hold on to power.
